Not since American Gladiators have burly men in tiny clothing brought us so much joy. When 300 was first released, it was widely regarded as a near-perfect theater movie. Luckily, the experience translates just as well in your house, thanks to a dynamite video transfer and more extras than you can shake a bloodstained spear at. There is even some real historical information about the actual battle that inspired the flick, which is entertaining and kind of educational, in a gut-stabbing kind of way. There's also some Frank Miller content to help ease the pain as nerds eagerly await Sin City 2.
