Adam Sandler confirms his graduation from drunk, pudgy slob to romantic, pudgy lead by starring alongside Drew Barrymore in the unapologetically mushy 50 First Dates. See Adam meet Drew. See Drew forget Adam. See Adam woo Drew over and over again each morning. See early Sandler fans cringe. Guess it's all part of the maturation process, but this isn't what Sandler does best and the extras don't provide any plausible excuses. A generic making-of featurette re-explains the intricate plot, and Barrymore offers giggly commentary with director Peter Segal. The blooper reel catches Sandler struggling through his work with kids, animals, and Rob Schneider, while "Talkin' Pidgin" covers various Hawaiian slang. Unfortunately, there's no translation provided for "not edgy enough for the Oxygen network."
