Hitting the road to get to the wedding, Schmidt learns all sorts of life lessonsand we have to hear about each one of them as he writes to his new best bud, a Tanzanian orphan he sponsors through one of those 1-800 TV-charity organizations. Watching Jack stumble around in his twilight years is the only amusement youll get out of this heavy story about making a difference. Theres also a Kathy Bates nude scene, which we cant bring ourselves to discuss
