The first two or three minutes of this blissfully incoherent and occasionally friggin' hilarious feature cartoon will have you wetting your pants with laughter as a house band of movie concession items sings and subtitles appear interpreting the lyrics. "If you don't like it, walk out. We still have your fucking money!" Another early warning promises mass confusion: "If you don't understand the plot, you should not be here." Based on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim channel cult series hit, this big-screen version of the adventures of "crime fighting" fast food products Meatwad, Frylock, and Master Shake is just as perverse and nonsensical as its TV cousin. What plot there is revolves around conquering Insaneoflex, a deadly piece of exercise equipment that somehow threatens world peace. What makes the scattered bits and pieces that comprise the Aqua Teen enterprise watchable are inspired moments with cats shooting out of cannons and off-the-wall thoughts shooting out of nowhere. All of this is written, directed, produced, and mostly voiced by Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis, who probably have about as much of a clue as to what's going on as us poor schmucks in the audience. But that's the point. Don't ask questions, just go with it. And if it seems like it might have been written on crack, who cares? What other movie these days delivers characters good enough to eat?
