Firefighters never get the credit they deserve, and casting Billy Baldwin as the lead in this classic smoke-eater flick could be part of the reason. Lucky for him he's flanked by Kurt Russell, Scott Glenn and Robert de Niro in this Ron Howard classic which paved the way for a show like Rescue Me to carry the torch. Along with the movie, and all those great quotes ("That's my brother, goddamn it!"), we also get doused with extras like never before, including an inferno of deleted scenes, five flaming documentaries and some horrible fire metaphors. (Okay, that last one is solely on us. But it's still a great DVD.)
