Billy Bob Thornton leads a cast of merry pranksters in this heartwarming tale of a boy, the fake Santa he idolizes, and the black midget who tries to steal Christmas. Offensive doesn't begin to explain the humor here, and with seven extra minutes of footage spliced into the theatrical cut on the Badder Santa DVD, now even more special interest groups get to be outraged. A behind-the-scenes special riffles through all the obstacles encountered on such a button-pushing production, with director Terry Zwigoff (Ghost World) and profiles the lead actors. Three deleted and alternate scenes, as well as a host of outtakes, find the cast and crew riffing on set. Then there's the "Badder Santa" gag reel, which sports foul-mouthed fuck-ups, the late John Ritter talking fat chicks with Bernie Mac, and enough drunken Santa shtick to make Christmas come early and often this year.
