The Skinny: Now that HD-DVD has been taken out behind the woodshed, the reboot of Gotham's favorite nutcase makes its Blu-ray debut in a package that will have Bat fans squealing even more than they've been since day one of filming for The Dark Knight.
Reminded Us Of Batman Begins, only shinier.
The Good: Everything. Not only do you get an HD version of a hands-down classic, there are mini-comics that tease the upcoming sequel, as well as that film's six-minute opening scene, previewed before IMAX screenings of I Am Legend a few months back. It also has five collectible postcards and a discount coupon for Dark Knight tickets.
The Bad: It still won't actually turn you into Batman.
Best Extra: The IMAX prologue. While it'll be old news in a few weeks, seeing a crisp Blu-ray copy of the Joker heist in your own home is nerd porn of the highest order.
