The Skinny: Classic Bond movies come to Blu-Ray for the first time, including Dr. No, Die Another Day, For Your Eyes Only, From Russia with Love, Live and Let Die, The Living Daylights, Octopussy, and Thunderball.
The Good: What can we say besides "Classic Bond Movies on Blu-Ray"? You want it, you know you want it. The transfers are generally solid, although at times HD is not kind to the earlier Bond films. You can actually see Cubby Broccoli shaving pennies off the budget.
The Bad: There's isn't much besides the glory of high definition to sell you on these discs, especially if you're a diehard. A lot of the special features contained on the individual movies have been available on other, earlier releases. But, really, it's a nitpick.
Best Extra: Honestly, the bonus features are not the selling point here and, again, you've seen most of them before.
Buy, Rent, or Give Away: True Bond fans, pony up. The rest can rent them for a marathon leading up to Quantum of Solace.
