For a TV show thats traveled from the WB to UPN and is now fighting to stave off cancellation, Buffy and its loyalists can bask happily in this season three DVD. Unlike the usual TV season sets24 and Sopranos, were looking at youBuffy has more than just all of the episodes and a commentary here or there. The extras are formatted like a movie, with features on wardrobe, weapons, special effects, and an in-depth interview with Buffy master monster maker John Vulich. The special effects extras segments are especially entertaining because of the shows limited budget; forget CGI, and watch Tootsie Rolls become mutant spiders before your eyes. Even if the show doesnt go on, Slayer enthusiasts can take comfort in the fact that the third season had a proper send-off.
