When youve got a fan base as large and as rabid as Buffy the Vampire Slayers, you dont have to worry about drawing in uninitiated viewers with lots of bells and whistles. So with this, the second season, you get nothing but a smattering of featurettes on subjects like story development and make-up effects and a few art galleries and nothing else. Its really just no-frills Buffy episodes, and for many that would be enough. But with a show thats got such great chemistry and tripped-out subject matter, even hardcore fans would probably like to see more in-depth features. You just know there are tons of outtakes floating around with on-set goofinessis it too much to ask to slap a few on a DVD for us? This one is for Buffy freaks only, and you know who you are.
