While there’s not much more to say about this movie that wasn’t already said by our bile-spewing former movie reviewer (who was subsequently run off the road by a guy that looked a lot like Sam Jackson), Changing Lanes isn’t terrible. It’s just a middle-of-the-road story (did someone get the license plate on that pun?), that’s really easily forgotten. The same goes for the DVD. It’s an ideal rental, but as far as extras are concerned there’s not much more going on, unless you’re a fan of Hollywood ass-kissing promotional material. It could have been worse, though. They could have loaded it up with documentaries on grid lock and car accidents. The ideal extra would have been how Ben Affleck keeps getting hired to act in motion pictures—we only hope that feature appears on the DVD for The Sum of All Fears.
