Coach Carter is required viewing for anyone who thinks high school basketball has become nothing more than a minor league system for the NBA. Samuel L. Jackson anchors the unlikely story of a Los Angeles high school basketball coach who locks his entire undefeated team out of the gym because of its record in the classroom. If you don't believe the movie, sit down with the real coach Ken Carter in "The Man Behind the Movie." The featurette interviews Carter, his family, and his students as they walk through the true story—and it all lines up with the final cut. For more hoops action, the intense "Fast Break at Richmond High" documents the recruiting, training, and practicing that went into shooting the flick's game footage. There's also a music video with Twista and Faith Evans and six deleted scenes that catch the students doing what they do best (practicing, winning, partying) and Jackson doing what he does best (screaming, yelling, hollering).
