If being a dickhead was all it took to get laughs, we'd be racking up 1-800 commercial spots faster than Carrot Top. But it takes someone as neurotic as Larry David to act like a supreme douchebag and turn it into a revolutionary sitcom. Season Three of Curb Your Enthusiasm finds the Seinfeld cocreator stepping up his game by irking Alanis Morissette, robbing graves, and intoxicating toddlers. He also revamps his guest list, moving past Richard Lewis (although he still finds his way onto the show) to hook up with Ted Danson, Martin Scorsese, and 50 Cent rival-wannabe Krazee-Eyez Killa. The 10 hilarious episodes make this set a must-buy on their own, but the extras milk more off-color laughs from the cast and crew with a sit-down at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. At the event, everyone gets to introduce their favorite scenes, including rants on masturbation material, terrorist attacks, and how many fucks in an episode are too many. The other featurette, "Stop & Chat," is a surprisingly entertaining look into the show's script-writing process, including David and his cohorts discussing how to create the most obnoxious character on television. (Cast of Will & Grace not included.)
