You might as well go back and read our original review of Ali, because there ain’t much more to say. This has got to be one of the most disappointing DVD releases we’ve seen yet. A three-hour epic about the most charismatic sports figure in history, and they can’t even scrape together a single special feature? We’re pretty sure there’s going to be a special edition release sometime in the near future, so why didn’t they just wait and give us a decent DVD then? This is a rental, not a purchase.
