X-Men 1.5

Still a couple of months away from Professor Xavier and the mutants springing back into action with the second in this film series, X2, X-Men 1.5 is, conveniently enough, coming out with just enough time to get us all riled up again. With over five hours’ worth of special features, we can only highlight a few details: On the first disc, you can choose enhanced viewing and break from the movie into 17 behind-the-scenes featurettes (each returning seamlessly to the scene it just chronicled) and six deleted scenes. On disc two, even the documentaries have the option to branch out into more in-depth features. There’s also a preview of X2 from the movie’s Vancouver set that plays like a making-of and includes plenty of juicy clips from the sequel. They should have released this one the first time around, but at least now 1.5 will be enough to stave off Marvel maniacs until May.
