Before Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura were mowing down girly-men politicians, they were mowing down the South American jungle to track the ultimate killing machine in the best movie ever to pit an alien monster against an elite squad of army commandos. Now the Collector's Edition heads back into the thicket. The first disc boasts two commentary tracks stuffed with info: one audio track with director John McTiernan; one subtitle track featuring interviews with the flick's screenwriters, stunt coordinators, and effects coordinators. The second disc comes cram-packed with set visits, including the making-of featurette from 1986, when Jesse was still speaking in wrestling bravado, Arnold was still chomping on cigars, and everyone was still bitching about the rigorous military jungle training they had to endure. "Inside the Predator" gets even more details from the cast and crew, including brief stints on the stunts, Ventura's Gatling gun, and, of course, the creature itself. There's even a Predator profile, which diagrams all of his weapons, gadgets, and weaknesses with close-up pictures. Barring a knife through the sternum, we can't imagine you'd need any more reason to stick around.
