Taking Lives isn't so much a "whodunit?" as it is a "why make it?" A perfectly good concept for a thrillera serial killer goes on a rampage stealing the identities of his victims, Angelina Jolie flashes her breastscrumbles under the weight of ludicrous and unnecessary plot twists. And as is usually the case, an impressively bad movie is flanked by perfectly forgettable supplements. The "Taking Lives Crime Lab" hosts four separate featurettes, none running over seven minutes. You can get a profile of the director, stories from the cast about working together, and tips on editing (tip one: never let Angelina's lips stray outside the shot). If you're still searching for laughs, you can hit up the gag reel (the only other featurette) or just replay the main feature.
