Ed Wood is a simple tale of a simple man who just wanted to make his own (terrible) movies and wear his own (women's) clothing. And while Hollywood might not have given "two fucks for Bela," the brand-new featurettes on this special edition will have you clamoring for another look at the Tim Burton classic. Rewatch the movie with Burton, costar Martin Landau, and others on the commentary track and take in deleted scenes of Johnny Depp's Wood shouting out directives from behind his gigantic bullhorn. More Depp comes into play with "Let's Shoot This F#%@r!" as he hosts a behind-the-scenes special, in drag, of course, that forgoes boring sit-down interviews for clips of the cast and crew during production. "Making Bela" is the most straight-faced look at the film, as Landau plainly discusses his process for portraying the famed Bela Lugosi, including a brief history of the troubled actor's career. "Pie Plates Over Hollywood" gets the production designer's take on how to put together a good-looking movie about a guy who put together bad-looking movies. To top it all off, there's a music video directed by Burton that's so strangely awful, Wood is probably grinning in his graveand not just because he was given such an adorable burial dress.
