Dude! Finally, a DVD set (appropriately dubbed the Ultimate Party Collection) thatll add some serious fuel to those late-night, weed-induced debates: Whos the cooler stoner, Slater or Spicoli? Hotter bitchy chick, Darla or Linda? Bigger asshole, OBannion or Brad? Creepier old guy, Wooderson or Mr. Hand? Cooler black guy um, the one in Dazed or, um, the one in Fast Times? No matter which side of the nostalgia fence you fall on (Richard Linklaters 70s epic actually made in the 90s or Amy Heckerlings 80s romp actually made in the 80s), youll want to snag this two-disc doubleheader faster than Damone can snag Aerosmith tickets. (Wait now were getting all mixed up). While slapping these two undisputed comedy classics together in trippy tie-dye and classic high school locker packaging is more than enough for us, these are actually fully loaded new editions of the flicks that have deleted scenes, all-new documentaries, video maps, special music highlights, and even period-appropriate institutional filmstrips and public service announcements. Of course, thats assuming you need any more useful advice than, No shirt, no shoes no dice.
