The longer The Sopranos takes to work up a new season—see ya in 2006!—the farther shows like The Shield and 24 sprint ahead. But that's not to say we're willing to throw Tony and his cronies to the bottom of the lake with cement slippers just yet. In season five, Steve Buscemi joined the wise guys as Tony's cousin, the Feds pushed harder to bust up Tony's ring, and, naturally, there was plenty of whacking. The only extras included are five episode commentaries with four different directors—from Peter Bogdanovich to Buscemi—and one star, Drea de Matteo, narrating her own murder. Unless you crave information about New Jersey, the tracks don't bring much to the table, but the season alone will be enough to see you through until the next hit.
