The punks who took the concept behind America's Funniest Home Videos and made it far more lucrativeand only half as dangerousare now celebrating their improbable run with a retrospective box set. Three discs contain aired footage from the show's run on MTV (including the previously unreleased first season), while a fourth disc hosts extra stunts and a collectable booklet runs through a short history of the show. Few shows are better suited for the DVD format than this quick-hitting series full of broken bones, stapled buttocks, and regurgitated food, and the extra footage just brings more of the same moronic hijinx (the highlight being Brad Pitt, in a monkey suit, getting run over by a cast member on a bike). For more perspective, "Where Are They Now" gives the guys the VH1 treatment, as Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, and the rest of the crew sit down to go over the genesis of the stupidest show ever to thrive on television. (Other than Two And A Half Men, of course.)
