After three years um, we mean "days," of legendary counterterrorism agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) chasing bad guys under such strict time constraints, you'd think he'd get a day to chill. Nope, 'cause America's about to get hit by some nuclear missiles and he's the only guy that can make things all better. After last season's horrible showing, it's great to see Jack back in command and not sucking. Along the way, of course, he has to deal with everyone questioning his heroic abilities. Look, the dude's saved the world three times already, it's time to accept the fact that he knows what he's doing. It's a wonder that anyone ever watches the show on Fox anymore, since we all know these 24 box sets are worth their weight in black market plutonium. If some crappy storyline ensues, like another mole at CTU or some secondary character's daughter trying to commit suicide, you can just breeze past it as if it never happened. Loaded with extras including close to 40 deleted scenes (that's almost a day in itself), in-depth footage of how they rigged a train explosion, and a Season Five prequel complete with an awesome car chase, it's apparent that today, is indeed, a great day.
