"'Til death do they part" is put to a serious test in this twisted Tim Burton romantic fairy tale. Burton skipped over computers in favor of stop motion animation, and the extras delve into how much work the crew put into making the star puppets come to lifeand in some cases, death. In addition to features on the vocal talent and the score, "The Breath of Life" details the intense frame by frame shoot, while "Making Puppets Tick" follows the five month design schedule that resulted in mechanical puppets who can express emotions through complex facial expressions. (Hey, it's more than you get out of a Keanu Reeves movie.)
