This video game adaptation catches the Rock doing his best not to sleepwalk through a script that's barely more complex than the actual game's. Luckily for the DVD, the extras stick to what went right, taking a trip to the firing range with the cast during their mandatory boot camp. The software and make-up advisors run through how they created the giant beasts for the flick, while we also get to see what the Rock was thinking during his three-and-a-half hour make-up sessions. In the end, obsessed gamers pop up to discuss their love affair with the first-person shooter—not surprisingly, none of them mention the movie.
