Legend of the Wu-Tang: The Videos

Back before hip-hop was about rims, groupies, and gold teeth, it was about Tims, hoodies, and gold teeth. For proof, just check out this extensive look at the Wu library, including classic videos for "C.R.E.A.M.," "Method Man," and "Protect Ya Neck," which flaunt old-school production values like black-and-white film and A/V club–quality graphics. A gritty, unreleased 20-minute documentary on the Clan also catches the crew in all of its 1994 glory, including a meandering interview that touches on everything from nicknames to rhyme styles to chess moves. The Wu-Tang Clan might be nuthing ta f' wit, but this DVD is a must-have for hard-core hip-hop heads.
