Jack Black is hilarious. That's an undisputed fact. Whether or not you'll like him as a monk-turned-Mexican-wrestler is all up to your appreciation of fat guys in tights. It's pretty clear that this is directed by the same guy who did Napoleon Dynamite, because the humor ranges from subtle to obvious to bizarre and isn't for everyone. But Black rocks the wrestling mask and tights perfectly, pulls off the goofy accent and is really nimble for a fat dude. The extras, including around an hour of behind-the-scenes, really help to endear the whole movie and make it worth watching at least twice before writing off this possible cult classic.
