Pretend the number 12 doesn't exist, either in the world or this franchise, and we're all back to having a good time. George Clooney and company are in high roller form as they head back to Vegas to carry out an ultracomplex heist that even trumps the original. (The original starring Clooney, not the one with Sinatra. That sucked.) Al Pacino is hamming it up as the scheming casino mogul Willy Bank, who's just begging to be taken down. It recaptures the exciting and freewheeling attitude of Ocean's 11, without any of the embarrassing self-congratulatory Hollywood backslapping of Ocean's 12. The extras are pretty weakthere's a director's commentary and additional scenes, but the rest are documentaries about Vegas or heists unrelated to the moviebut the Blu-ray clarity makes you feel like you're walking around Vegas with a purpose, rather than stumbling from casino to casino looking for the cheapest prime rib.
