The Simpsons Movie [Blu-ray]

It's taken over 10 years and more than 150 versions of the script, but the makers of The Simpsons proved, like donuts, that there's nothing they can't do. It's clear they've been saving up their best gags so they could create one of the best movies of the year, and one of the best animated films of all time. The coolest part about watching this on Blu-ray (or DVD, since that's probably all you've got) is you can comb through The Simpsons Movie and find all those things you missed in the theater. To help out, one of the commentary tracks featuring creator Matt Groening and a roomful of Simpsons stars pauses the movie at times to point out these bits, as well as other interesting behind-the-scenes stories. Plus, remember how great the animation looked on the big screen? Blu-ray is so clear it's as if you can smell Mo's body odor and Otto's bong resin. Far out!
