Oh, Milla Jovovich. As long as you have a gun in your hand and are kicking zombie ass we will always be in love with you. By far the best action chick in the business, Milla extends this video game franchise into a trilogy and carries it on her sexy shoulders. Scientists from the Umbrella Corporation are working to control the zombies they created and save the world for their own evil purposes. Superhero Alice (Milla) is wandering the desert, trying to save a caravan of survivors and destroy the bad guys. We admit we're a little clueless about the backstory—it's been four years since Resident Evil: Apocalypse, and six years since the original Resident Evil—but it doesn't matter. We just sat back and enjoyed the over-the-top CGI effects, gross zombies, and, of course, Milla. That's about all we wanted or expected, and it delivered on all counts.
