The Skinny: Rambo does his killing in crystal-clear 1080p, making the original trilogy look better than it ever has. Seriously, like an explosive-tipped arrow to the face, it's stunning.

You've Gotta Be Effing Kidding Us: For some boneheaded reason this set only includes the original trilogy and not the explosive fourth entry into the series Rambo. So if you buy this you have to buy that one separately until they inevitably put out a definitive Rambo Blu-ray box set just to ruin our lives and bank accounts. Judging by the fact that they've already put out three Rambo box sets, and there are rumors of another Rambo film on the horizon, we wouldn't put it past them.

The Good: Sweet Lord! For those of you with a PS3 or Blu-ray player, you won't believe how insane these movies look cleaned up in HD. They all look amazing, but Rambo: First Blood Part II, which takes place out in the jungle, looks especially stunning.

The Bad: It doesn't include all the extras that appear on the Rambo: The Complete Collector's Set, which is kind of a bummer. Like we mentioned above, they've put out so many of these sets that it'd be nice to have one that includes everything. But if it's between special features we'd only watch once and perfect picture and sound, then we'll take the latter.

Best Extra: Each disc has an "Out of the Blu" pop-up video-like track, as well as the commentaries and basic featurettes that have been included on past Rambo box sets.
