The Skinny: An obscure art house film about two electricians searching for love. Really, if you need to know what this movie is about, then you're on the wrong site.

The Good: Those crazy robots never looked better. This is one of those blockbusters that were made for HD, allowing you to see all the intricate details you missed in regular resolution. For example, it's so clear you can count the sweat droplets on Megan Fox's tummy! (We're not kidding. It's that clear.)

The Bad: If you were one of the 12 people who bought Transformers on the defunct HD-DVD format, you'll have to rebuy; if you have any of the HD premium cable stations, they've been showing this movie in a perpetual loop for the last few months so you may need a break. (To its credit, it does look better on Blu-ray than it does on cable.)

Best Extra: This has the same roster of extras from the HD-DVD release, which again will piss off those 12 people who already own it. For those of you who were smart and waited for the HD-format war to end, you'll enjoy two discs worth of superior special features. On the first disc there's the picture-in-picture "Heads Up Display"; Disc 2 is highlighted by two in-depth documentaries—"Our World" and "Their War"—that cover almost every aspect of production. Even if you're not a huge fan, the sheer scope of Transformers is enough to make anyone's power cube explode onto their own chest. (Yuck.)
