The Skinny: One of the movies that helped kickstart the Blu-Ray craze in the first place returns with a bigger package to wave in your face. Casino Royale Collector's Edition is two- or three-disc (depending on whether you get Blu-Ray or standard) set chock full of Bondian extras.

The Good: Again, even without the extras, Casino Royale is the kind of movie that you pop into a Blu-Ray player and go, "OK, now I get it." To call this new edition's extras "exhaustive" is to call Vesper Lynd "pleasant looking"—this is a Bond fan's dream, covering everything from the creation of the character to how Ian Fleming took his coffee.

The Bad: Unless you are the type of fan who can't wait to dive into several hours worth of documentaries and extras, this is essentially just another Blu-Ray copy of Casino Royale. Which you likely have already. If you've gotten so DVD-savvy that you held off buying the original DVD because you knew a special edition would be on its way…congratulations.

Best Extra: It's hard to choose, but 'The Road to Casino Royale' is great because it reminds you that this particular Bond story had a pretty long, torturous production history that included the infamous "spoof" version starring David Niven, Peter Sellers, and Woody Allen.

Buy, Rent, or Give Away: If you want true OO status, buy it. If you already have Casino Royale, a rent should give you plenty of time to soak up the extras.
