The Skinny: HBO's foul-mouthed and disappointingly short-lived western series finally gets a nice package with a ribbon on it for fans and noobs alike.

The Good: This is one of those seminal series that you just have to see, and if your only excuse for not doing so was laziness in tracking down the three individual season sets, you have no more reason not to.

The Bad: If you already own the three individual season sets, there's no incentive to get this because all of the special features and commentaries carry over. There's very little new stuff to entice you to quadruple-dip.

Best Extra: "The Meaning of Endings: David Milch on the Conclusion of Deadwood," one of the sole new features, it's a nice eulogy for this gritty cowboy drama that left this world too motherfucking, cocksucking early if you ask us.

Buy, Rent, or Ignore: If you've held out until now, buy it. If you're already a Deadhead, you can skip it.
