The Skinny: The Coen brothers struck Oscar gold with this stripped-down western about a cop (Tommy Lee Jones), an average joe (Josh Brolin), and a psychotic hitman (Javier Bardem) whose lives intertwine around a sack of stolen drug money.
The Good: This is just a stellar DVD package, befitting one of 2007's best films. Not only is the transfer to Blu-Ray so breathtaking you'll be checking your living room for tumbleweeds and dead Mexicans, but the special feature selection absorbs all the ones included on the first No Country release and adds a truckload more.
The Bad: A Blu-Ray double dip, already? It's bad enough there are already two Blu-Ray editions of Casino Royale to contend with, now No Country is jumping the money-milk train way too soon in the format's history. You guys could have held out and just released the special edition the first time around. Who do you think you are, George Lucas?
Best Extra: There are so many good features, we're just going to go with the awesome "Call It, Friendo" option, which randomly selects a featurette for you.
Buy, Rent, or Ignore: Buy this, unless you already sank money in the first one. We can't recommend you double dip in this economy. Looks like you lose, friendo.
