The Butt from the Bronx gets tough in this brooding drama and manages a credible performance as the beleaguered and bruised housewife even when unoriginal screenwriting lets her down.
Discovering that her husband (Billy Campbell) is the devil incarnate with a healthy interest in extramarital affairs and a mean right hook, J-Los character (having had enough) flees with her kid to a nondescript small boat town in Michigan. But can she escape the callous and possessive husband who will stop at nothing to get her back? Although definitely one for go girl feminists and offering some real moments of drama and intrigue, Enough eventually gives way to tedious plot conventions that turn down the fire on what began as a decent pot-boiler.
