The men who made it acceptable to believe in ghosts—and even more acceptable to pay large sums of money to exterminate them—return on a special edition DVD that packages both movies together with…a scrapbook…and all of the features from the original release. But who cares if the extras are more outdated than Dan Aykroyd? The first flick is a must-own comedy classic that's received a digitally-remastered makeover, and the second flick has Bobby Brown on the soundtrack. Of the 20-year-old supplements, one goes behind the scenes for some good footage and bad hair, while an old-school FX featurette checks in with the crew to see how effects teams survived before Apple computers conquered Hollywood. The lighthearted commentary track is lacking Bill Murray, but the deleted scenes make up for it by catching plenty of his adlibs, as well as more paranormal activities, and, of course, more soft and gooey Sta-Puft Marshmallow goodness.
