What It Really Is: A pretty funny sex comedy. It’s not without its flaws, but For a Good Time, Call... works because it has two major assets: Ari Graynor and Lauren Miller. We already know and love Graynor from her scene-stealing in Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, but, unless you’ve been playing really close attention to her husband Seth Rogen’s movies, Miller is a new face. She could’ve easily been blown off the screen in her first starring role, but she holds her own against her predictably hysterical costar and, as the movie’s co-writer, delivers a solid script. Both ladies are totally in their element in this movie and we only hope it results in more starring roles in the future.
