Finally! A movie that captures the essence of all of those horribly awkward teen moments in high school, when love turns from a four-letter word into a four-letter (and second!) deed. You’ve got cute guys with dreamy hair trying to pick you up at every turn. You’ve got divorces, marriages, elopements, and teen pregnancies lurking behind every poorly planned plot hole. And you’ve got one of the worst underage chick flicks to plague theaters since Britney danced around in her undies. The half-star is for the Mandy Moore-in-bra scene—we have to give credit where it’s due—but you can always find screen shots on the Internet. Do Mandy, and yourself, a favor and let her deal with this one on her own.
