DISCLAIMER: This isn't the new Ed Norton The Incredible Hulk released this past summer. (That's due out October 21, 2008.) This is the one most of you probably hated or never gave a proper chance.

The Skinny: The original Ang Lee Hulk caused a lot of fan-boy controversy, and has been widely dismissed as a failure. Not so! While it's more drama than action, this experimental and risky take on the Big Green has heart, brains, and will always have a place in our purple sweatpants. Even if you don't like the movie, you will be impressed with how great it looks on Blu-ray.

The Good: This movie blew us away in high definition, proving the effects are equal, if not better at times, to those of the remake. (Then again, how realistic is a massive green giant supposed to look?); by reworking the Hulk's origins this is more of a stand-alone movie than one meant for a series of sequels; Eric Bana is a much better Bruce Banner than Ed Norton; Sam Elliott was born to play Thunderbolt Ross.

The Bad: It's nowhere near as fast-paced and accessible as the remake; it's overly emotional at times, mostly focusing on daddy issues, which is something most guys don't appreciate in their superhero films; if you don't own a Blu-ray player, you've wasted your time reading this review.

Best Extra: They include the picture-in-picture U-Control option, allowing you to see featurettes while you watch the movie. The rest of the extras are from the original special edition DVD (Ang Lee commentary, bunch of behind-the-scenes).
