It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Season 3

Release Date:
Tuesday, September 9, 2008
Star Rating:
★★★★★
The Skinny: The funniest season of the funniest show on TV. Of the 15 episodes, we've watched a few more than five times, and they still make us laugh. Plus, "Nightman" could be the greatest song ever written. (Second greatest? "Dayman.")

A Few of the Offensive Targets This Season: Dumpster babies, retarded people, sex offenders, the mob, and masturbating bums.

Line That Made Us LOL: "I'm about to show you the white hot cream of an eighth grade boy."

The Good: The show takes its meanness even further this season, and still gets away with it. The boys from Philly really know what they're doing, which is more than we can say for their sports teams. (You had to see that one coming.)

The Bad: You can watch all these episodes whenever you want for free on Hulu with limited commercial interruptions.

Best Extra: This crew is always funny, even when they're just being themselves. The gag reel almost made us piss ourselves. And the behind-the-scenes featurettes, especially the one focusing on the creepy, incestuous family that keeps popping up each season ("Meet the McPoyles"), are a must-see.
