The classic video game is being made into a movie once again. This time around, Jean-Claude Van Damme's phone isn't ringing.
2. Michael Clarke Duncan (<i>Daredevil</i>)- Character: Balrog
Who better to portray Street Fighter's resident Mike Tyson look-alike? Balrog is a simple punch-you-in-the-face badass in a world of acrobatic dance fighters, so Duncan's no-nonsense baritone and Incredible Hulk body type should intimidate appropriately.
3. Neal McDonough (<i>TinMan</i>)- Character: M. Bison
Stepping into Raul Julia's shoes, Band of Brothers' Buck Compton takes on the role of Street Fighter's boss villain M. Bison. The guys who created the jack-booted, be-caped nemesis may not have had such a blond-haired, blue-eyed image in mind, but there's no denying that McDonough's stare is creepy as hell, and therefore fitting for a baddie like Bison.
4. Taboo- Character: Vega
Taboo, one of the members of Black Eyed Peas who isn't Fergilicious, has the dubious honor of playing the guy most made fun of by Street Fighter fans. The fey androgynous Vega likes theater masks, tight capri pants, and scratching—but he's also a pretty frustrating guy to face-off against. Let's hope Taboo has learned how to backflip.
1. Kristin Kreuk- Character: Chun-Li
Smallville's Lana Lang is ready to squeeze into the miniskirt of everyone's favorite helicopter-kicking heroine. This satisfies both game geeks who will only accept a certified hottie in the role of Chun-Li, and Kristin Kreuk fans who've been longing to see her do splits while dressed as a schoolgirl.
5. Chris Klein- Character: Charlie Nash
Charlie (known as "Nash" in the Japanese version of Street Fighter and combined into "Charlie Nash" for the film) is the guy who taught flat-topped military man Guile his signature moves. Rollerball 's Chris Klein will be the guy shouting "sonic boom!" in theaters, and, we assume, chafing inside a wire-fu harness.
