No matter how creepy and annoying you find Tom Cruise, put it aside for two hours and you'll be shocked by how awesome this is. J.J. Abrams (Lost, Alias) creates the spirit and excitement that's been missing from this franchise by concentrating on awesome gadgets, psychotic action and teamwork. Yep, Cruise isn't in it alone as he battles Philip Seymour Hoffman for control over some high-tech device that will most likely destroy the world. Not only is M:I:3 one of the best action films of recent times, but the extras make it impossible to view in one sitting. From the in-depth commentaries from Cruise and Abrams to seven behind-the-scenes featurettes, you're gonna be thinking about this movie long after Cruise gets whisked away by his alien forefathers. (You didn't think we could make it through this review without one Scientology reference, did you? We're weak!)
