A slight piece of whimsy from the House that Eisner Built, Disneys The Kid wont make you vomit into your official Dinosaur Kids Value Meal should your bratty nephew drag you to see it.
Three things that make this movie bearable: 1. Willis lightens the hell up and seems to be having more fun than hes had since Moonlighting. 2. Newcomer Spencer Breslin (as the younger Bruce) is actually pretty damn cute, and not a bad actor to boot. 3. Love interest Emily Mortimer is spunky and adorable, even without the accent. Add a funny (if brief) turn by Lily Tomlin, and it aint half bad for a kid flick.
