Only in the movies! What are the chances that cocky ladies’ man Benjamin Barry (Matthew McConaughey), looking to hook a woman in 10 days as part of a bet, meets hottie magazine columnist Andie Anderson (Kate Hudson), who’s been assigned to find a man to drive away in 10 days? She puts tampons in his apartment bathroom. He cooks for her. She ruins a Knicks game for him. He takes her to meet his family. And neither knows what’s going on! The tension was killing us until they finally realize that they really do love each other. Who says there are no more fairy-tale endings in Hollywood? And just in time to torture us for Valentine’s Day.
