Apparently based on some kind of Saturday morning cartoon, Teacher’s Pet tells the story of a dog named Spot who dreams of being a boy, so he goes to his owner’s school dressed like a boy, fools everyone into thinking he’s a boy, then gets Kelsey Grammar’s voice to shoot laser beams at him so he really will be a boy. But there’s a catch: Neither of them accounted for dog years and he’s turned into a middle-aged man instead. So then Spot seduces his owner’s mother, much to the disgust of her son, Leonard, who is the only one who knows Spot’s secret, and blah, blah, blah. Worth leaving work in the middle of the day to attend a free screening? Yes. Worth paying bucks for if you’re over eight years old? No.
