The fact that this ultra-gory and surprisingly funny flick won the Academy Award for Best Picture proves our country still has some balls. It's dark, violent, suspenseful, and by far the best Coen Brothers movie since Fargo. Josh Brolin finds a case of cash from a drug deal gone bad on the barren plains of Texas. Javier Bardem, in a role that surpasses the hype, is a psychopathic hit man killing everything in his way to get the money. Tommy Lee Jones is the good-hearted sheriff tracking all the action in disbelief at how horrible the world has become. It may be strange, but it's one of those movies that stick with you long past the closing credits. The extras are relatively lame—a few slapped-together making-ofs—but that's our only complaint, because we love this country as much as our own.

It's also available on Blu-ray, and definitely worth it if you have the means.
