The main character of Oldboy goes on a killing rampage after being locked up for 15 years. Coincidentally, that's about as much time as you'd need to watch all the extras on this massive DVD box set. One of the most original and painful foreign films ever made, Oldboy proves that the Koreans have us beat in the revenge-film department. We've already reviewed the first edition DVD of Oldboy, which was light on extras, but this special makes up for that
and then some. Packaged in a tin case, there are three discs and over 350 minutes of stuff to absorb, including commentaries, a 200-page graphic novel and a video diary from each of the 69 shooting days. What can we say? It's for fans of torture.
