Take another trip to the mental ward with Jack and the crew to find out how this novel-turned-play-turned-movie got put together and swept up at the 1975 Academy Awards. The “making of” featurette is where all of the crazies get talking, as we find out what Nurse Ratched (Louise Fletcher) looks like doing a striptease and how she beat out Angela Lansbury for the part. Listening to Michael Douglas droll on and on about his producer role on the film is about as annoying as watching the lucky bastard strut around with his hottie real-life wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, but the other interviews make up for his pomposity. The highlight of the featurette comes when the whole cast blatantly picks on Sydney Lassick as the one guy who was closest to actually going bananas before the movie finished shooting. The verdict’s still out on that one.
