In season two, Oz proved it was nobodys prison bitch, and could survive the long haul as a series: Tobias Beecher (Lee Tergesen) turned crazy (yeah, wed say biting a guys dick off is pretty damn crazy). Chris Keller (Christopher Meloni) becomes Beechers new roommate. Simon Adebisi (Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje), still one of the most powerful characters ever on TV, rapes wise-guy wannabe Peter Shibetta (Eddie Malavarca). Ryan OReilys (Dean Winters) brother Cyril (Scott William Winters) gets sentenced, which starts a whole Irish-Aryan dust-up. Miguel Alvarez (Kirk Acevedo) plucks out a guards eyes. Almost every lasting storyline originated during the second season, which makes up for the lack of special features included on this eight-episode, three-disc box set. The commentaries are interesting, for a change, and the Oz seasons are so short, repeat viewing is more reasonable than, say, watching Felicity: Season One more than once. Speaking of plucking eyes out
