Never-seen photos of Steve McQueen, the big-screen icon who personified "cool" in his movies Bullitt, The Great Escape and The Magnificent Seven, have popped today up on Life.com to celebrate what would have been the actor's 80th birthday. The 20 images, shot in 1963 by Life photographer John Dominis, should serve as an instruction manual on "How To Be One Cool Badass." Check out the entire Steve McQueen gallery featuring firearms, fast cars and his smokin' lady.
